Cuteness Alert: Baby Squirrel

As I walked toward my apartment from the bus stop this afternoon, I saw the most incredibly amazingly cute baby squirrel perched on the brick fence around my complex.

The cuteness is not quite as perceptible without getting a sense of just how small this dude is. I got him a piece of bread and he let me pet him. He fit entirely on the small piece of bread!

He was a bit too precarious on there, though, and toppled over the edge. He landed underneath the bread. It was adorable ;o)

Don't worry, it was only about a foot down from the ledge and he promptly got back to snacking.
